100 Chinese characters: stroke-order workbook

Practice a defined set of 100 Chinese characters with 533 numbered stroke steps, pinyin and writing grids. The 21-page A4 PDF contains one guide page and 20 practice pages, with five characters per page.

In each stroke diagram, dark strokes are already written, gold marks the current stroke and pale strokes show what remains. Follow the numbered steps, trace the first two examples, then write in the empty grids. Print at 100% size. Pinyin gives one practice reading; a character may have other readings in different words.

The ZIP includes a UTF-8 character list, an editable import.tsv for the writing-grid tool, complete stroke outlines and median paths for all 100 characters, and the original licenses. Paste the TSV into the tool to change the paper size, grid style or selected characters.

The selection covers basic numbers, people, learning, time, directions and daily objects. It is a named practice set, not a frequency ranking or an official exam-level list. Use the stroke animation tool to inspect a movement and the character lookup for additional readings.
