Terms of use

Using ChinaClue
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to ChinaClue.
These terms apply when you use our website, tools, articles, resources and account features. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Tools and articles are currently free. Downloads require an account, and commenting requires a verified email. Keep your account information accurate and your login details secure. Contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.
Information and tool results
Our content and tools provide general information. Results depend on your inputs, the rules used and the available data; check important dates, requirements and decisions against the relevant authority or a qualified professional. A format or checksum check does not prove that an identity, business, product or document is authentic.
We aim to keep the service useful and accurate, but cannot promise that every result is complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose.
Content and downloads
Use materials in accordance with the licence attached to the resource and applicable law. Our own calendar arrangements are licensed under CC BY 4.0 with attribution to ChinaClue; that licence does not automatically cover other articles, images or third-party materials. Access to a file does not transfer ownership or remove third-party rights.
Comments and acceptable use
You keep ownership of your comments and give ChinaClue permission to store, display and moderate them as part of the service. Only submit content you have the right to share. Comments are reviewed before publication and may be removed if they contain spam, unlawful material, harassment or someone else’s private information.
Do not bypass access controls, misuse accounts, disrupt the service, introduce harmful code or infringe others’ rights. We may restrict access or remove content to address misuse or protect the service.
Service changes and your rights
Features and content may change, and access may be interrupted for maintenance or other reasons. These terms do not exclude rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
We will publish changes to these terms with a revised date and highlight material changes where appropriate. For questions, permissions or disputes, use our contact page.
