Chinese dynasties and concurrent states timeline

A printable timeline and reference for all 79 entries in the ChinaClue dynasty tool, including the complete Sixteen Kingdoms and Ten Kingdoms groups. Compare overlapping regimes instead of treating Chinese history as one unbroken succession.

The PDF combines three detailed time windows with a reference entry for every dynasty, state and period. The ZIP contains a localized records.csv, intervals.csv and the unchanged source JSON. Names, date ranges and brief explanations follow the same version as the tool.

Negative years in CSV mean BCE; positive years mean CE. There is no year zero. start and end are outer bounds, not proof of continuous rule: use intervals.csv for interrupted regimes. Western Qin has 385–400 and 409–431; Dali has 937–1094 and 1096–1253. Boundaries are inclusive by year; ≈ marks approximate dates. Timeline bars are clipped to each displayed window. The 79 entries cover the declared selection, not every local polity or ruler in Chinese history.
