A rounds each piece before adding; B adds the larger weight of each piece, then rounds. Enter a quoted chargeable weight to compare it with the selected result. Incomplete or invalid parcel rows prevent a final total.
The example uses invented parcel measurements, not a carrier quote. Its two parcels give 20.5 kg under A and 21 kg under B. The workbook calculates weight, not freight prices, surcharges, taxes or route availability. Rules are fixed to the 2026-11-01 check; confirm the applicable contract before shipping.
